The view from Harting Down
The view from Harting Down on The South Downs at 7:00am on my Tuesday morning drive to the office. You’ve got to marvel at English weather and the English countryside sometimes! The fog settles in the low lying areas whilst the top of the Downs is sitting in sunshine. It’s quite an odd sight but it’s not unusual and doesn’t last for very long. The convenient thing about this situation is that there’s a National Trust car park at the top of the South Downs – so no need to hike up the hill first thing in the morning!
