Bluebell season is coming to an end…
Here’s a carpet of Bluebells near Benbow Pond just outside Midhurst. The location is on the Cowdray Estate in an area that has been untouched for hundreds of years. It’s a magical spot and there literally are thousands and thousands of Bluebells!
Take the track to the left of the lake up a shallow valley that curves around to your left and you will soon be surrounded by Bluebells. This shot was taken at the top of the valley. The scent from the flowers on a still spring evening is almost overpowering!
