My boys love their mountain bikes.
They have a huge spirit for adventure and even though they are just 9 and 11 they give me a fair run for my money up the hills – and on the way down they definitely have the edge! (Maybe I’m more worried about falling off than they are!!!)
This morning we made our way over to The Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire. Some very nice volunteers have made some great trails through the woods – a Blue Trail for novices and a Red Trail for the more adventurous. I thought the Blue Trail would be fine for my boys but oh no… After the Blue trail they then dragged me around the red one as well! Scared the life out of me!
The Queen Elizabeth Country Park is a great location for lots of random acts of wildness! There’s loads to do for everyone. If you fancy a view of the Mountain Bike Trails take a look at this Mountain Bike video! It’s pretty epic according to my Fynn!
Is it lucky for a bird to poo on your head?
An interesting question! I didn’t feel to lucky when a wood pigeon poo landed on my head, but fortunately I was wearing a bike helmet to I was in luck!
Just goes to show how important it is to wear a helmet when cycling 🙂
And here we are at the end of the wild ride.
