Watching the sun go down

Pyramidal orchids on an evening in June

Thursday evening is my favourite time of the week.

Fynn and I took the dogs up onto Bepton Down to look at the orchids and to watch the sun go down over the Rother Valley. We’re SO lucky to live where we do, the view from our backyard is in my humble opinion perfect!

A lot has changed on Bepton Down in the last few days. Two days ago there were no Pyramidal Orchids and now there are dozens of them! Must be down to all of the lovely sunshine. Should be lots more showing in the next few days. Take a walk on the Down if you can.
