Winkworth Arboretum Boathouse
At the weekend I took a trip over to Winkworth Arboretum near Godalming in Surrey. My 9 year old son is becoming a skilled photographer and we decided to head out at dawn to capture the autumn colours in the magic hour!
Winkworth is a fantastic location for autumn colours and this year has to be one of the best autumns for a long time.
Created by Wilfrid Fox in the 1930s Winkworth has a unique collection of unusual and rare species of trees, shrubs and flowers. It’s well worth a visit at any time of the year but October is amazing.
