Snow on the water
My 8 o’clock meeting was cancelled this morning so I stopped off for 5 minutes to take a photo of the snow instead!

Stunning Boxing Day views from the top of Linch Down. Cold yet brilliant. And we’ve now had snow since the beginning of December. 2010 has been a cold winter for sure. That’s The South Downs Way in the background, not many people up here today.
It’s a white out on the Downs! Not many people up here today, but a great way to walk off Christmas Lunch! To the right of the fence is The South Downs Way, but the view isn’t so great here at the top of Linch Down in the clouds. Happy Christmas y’all.
Nobody’s stirring, not even a mouse because it’s a white Christmas and there’s snow everywhere! Whoo-hoo!
Our big trek to Cocking in the snow. Thank goodness the Bluebell Inn was open! It was a bit cold but thankfully the pub was warm and toasty. Still no sign of the snow clearing. 2010 is ending with a real cold snap.
Some people don’t believe in Father Christmas. But here’s all the evidence you need. Clear evidence that Father Christmas and his helpers have been checking Bepton this week for naughty children. He’s left his footprints everywhere…
It’s cold, but magical out there today. Suffering from cabin fever, so went for a brisk stroll in the lane as the sun was setting over Bepton Down and Linch Down. Definitely working from home today.
There’s not a lot happening in Bepton today! Apart from lots of white stuff falling from the skies… The only people moving around are the lucky folk with tractors, 4x4s, skis and skidoos. Bepton’s pretty isolated from the outside world right now. On a positive note, it’s a winter wonderland!
The road into Bepton on the morning of the 1st December 2010. A beautiful view for drivers of tractors, sledges and skidoos. Not good for mere mortals planning to drive to work! My car is a Saab – all the way from Sweden but it’s not going anywhere today!
